With over a decade of experience as a producer and audio engineer, Billy Childz has been tapped into the music industry for a long time. Ever since he picked up his first bass guitar at the age of 7, the Queens native discovered music was his passion.

Joining Black Tie Records in mid 2019, Billy got his start as an engineer at New York’s Sabella Studios. Working his way from intern to studio manager and head engineer, Billy Childz has always been driven to make a name for himself. All the while Billy continued to play bass in several bands, and at the same time, hone his skills as a beat maker.

In 2020, Billy Childz serves as the head producer at Black Tie Records and is actively involved in all projects released by the label. Namely, alongside Small Boss, Billy Childz Executive Produced the album, Colors From Over The Wall.
